A nullable field is defined in the Source Record Descriptions file (see Section 3
for a description of how to specify a nullable field in the Source Record
Descriptions file).
The number of columns in a row cannot exceed 500, the number of significant
characters in a column cannot exceed 256, and the only supported data types are
character, binary, date, time, and timestamp.
The Source Record Descriptions file must indicate a maximum length for each
input field and include the data type of the target field.
Option 5 This field specifies the number of errors allowed before SQL stops.
Option Meaning
Blank No errors allowed.
ALLOWnnnnn nnnnn specifies an integer from 00001 to 99999, the number of SQL errors
allowed before the conversion program stops. Note that to specify 1 error, you
must include the leading zeroes (ALLOW00001). The ALLOWnnnnn option
applies only if Option 1 is SQL-INSERT or SQL-LOAD.
Option 6 This field is reserved.
Location of System
Software
This field gives the location of software on your system, as specified when you did a
RUN PROJECT command.
Field Meaning Default
TACL Location of TACL software on your system ($SYSTEM.SYS00.TACL)
COBOL Location of COBOL software on your system ($SYSTEM.SYSTEM.COBOL85)
DDL Location of DDL software on your system ($SYSTEM.SYSTEM.DDL)
EDIT Location of EDIT software on your system ($SYSTEM.SYSTEM.EDIT)
PERUSE Location of PERUSE software on your system ($SYSTEM.SYSTEM.PERUSE)
DATA BUILD Location of the Data Build ISV on your system ($DATA.ZDATABLD)
Note You can change the EDIT location to TEDIT, in which case Data Build will use the TEDIT program if you
press F10 - EDIT on the Main Menu.
