Conversion
Environment Fields
This subsection describes the purpose of each Conversion Environment field and its
acceptable settings.
CONVERSION Subvolume
Displays the name of the conversion project subvolume for this project.
SOURCE Record Descriptions Files
Enter the one to six character prefix of the Source Record Descriptions file names.
A Source Record Descriptions file is required for each input file; if the input is in
IXF format, Data Build will create these files.
DDL Record Descriptions Files
Enter the one to six character prefix of the DDL record descriptions file names.
Data Build creates these files in step F2.
DATA Files IN
Enter the one- to six-character prefix of the input file DEFINE names. See Section
2 for detailed information for more information.
DATA Files OUT
Enter the one- to six-character prefix of the output Enscribe file DEFINE names.
For a NonStop SQL conversion, if the input is in IXF format, this specifies the
prefix of work files. Otherwise, this specification is not used. In either case, this
can be specified as DUMMY. See Section 2 for detailed information for more
information.
OPTIONS
Enter the appropriate field setting for Options 1 through 5. If you enter an
incorrect setting in a field and press F14, a message shows the possible settings.
Table 4-2 shows the possible settings for each OPTIONS field and describes each
one.
