Note For multiple volumes, in the BUILD (F2) step, all tapes must be mounted in the correct order as directed.
The last tape is rewound and unloaded so that the first tape can be mounted for the RUN (F5) step.
9. Complete steps F2 to F5 in Data Build. Make sure you check for errors on the
spooler after each step. For more information about each step, see the appropriate
subsection in this section.
TAPECOM Restrictions For the BUILD (F2) and RUN (F5) step, if the input is on tape, TAPECOM cannot
control the input tape device.
If TAPECOM is active ($ZSVR process running) and LABELED_TAPE_SUPPORT
ENABLED was specified in SYSGEN, enter the following TAPECOM commands
before mounting the input tape:
CLEAR NLCHECK
CLEAR BLPCHECK
After the COBOL85 conversion program completes, reset the TAPECOM values if
necessary.
