Tools menu (Alt+L)
The Tools menu provides options to customize your Database Interface Designer
environment.

Displays the Shortcut Keys dialog box in which
to assign shortcut keys or key combinations to
specific Database Interface Designer operations
Options none Alt+L,

Displays the Options dialog box in which to
configure Database Interface Designer options
for backups, the Navigator, trace windows,
tables/views, and confirmations
Window menu (Alt+W)
The Window menu contains commands to provide control of open trace windows.

Close All none none Closes all open trace windows
Cascade none none Arranges all open trace windows so that they
overlap in a descending pattern
Tile Horizontally none none Arranges all open trace windows as
horizontal, non-overlapping tiles
Tile Vertically none none Arranges all open trace windows as vertical,
non-overlapping tiles
Arrange Icons none none Arranges all minimized trace windows in an
orderly fashion at the bottom of the
Mercator Database Interface Designer
window
List of recently
used files
none none Selecting a specific trace file from this list
makes it the active window. A check mark
appears next to the trace file that is in the
active trace window.
