The States.mtt type tree is provided. Note the Input, Output and Statistic
category types organize related types. Item and group types are subtypes of the
category types.
Component Ranges
The default component range is (1:1), indicating a minimum of one occurrence
and a maximum of one occurrence. When the component ranges vary from this
default, you must define accurate component ranges.
