The e-mail adapter automatically receives e-mail messages as sources of a map or sends e-mail
messages as targets of a map. The e-mail adapter on the NonStop supports Internet E-mail
(SMTP/POP3).
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is used to transport data. If you have the Command Server, CORBA
Transformation Server, Tuxedo Transformation Server, or Platform API on one platform, you can use
the FTP adapter to retrieve or send data to another platform.
The HTTP Adapter is used to transfer data to and from an HTTP web server. If you have a Command
Server, a CORBA Transformation Server, Tuxedo Transformation Server, or Platform API on one
platform, you can use the HTTP adapter to transfer data to an HTTP Web server on another platform.
(The HTTP adapter does not support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol or Proxy Servers at this
time.)
Messaging Adapters
Messaging adapters provide the ability to receive input data for a map from a messaging queue, and
deliver map output data to a messaging queue. Furthermore, messaging adapters support special verbs
within transformation rules that direct a message to be removed from a queue (Get), or placed on a
queue (Put), during the execution of a map.
