Chapter 5 - Using the Messaging
Adapter
When using the IBM WebSphere MQ adapter for a source, messages are served by
default from the queue in a first-in-first-out (FIFO) manner unless you specify a
particular message using a message or correlation identifier. When using the
adapter for a target, messages are placed on the queue you specify.
Message identifiers are assumed to be unique for a particular queue. If more than
one message in the same queue has the same message identifier, it is assumed
that each message is part of a packet. All messages with the same message
identifier are extracted and appended in FIFO order.
