can be customized at any time. A floating toolbox is part of the IFD and can be
placed anywhere on your desktop.
Navigator
The Navigator is the navigation pane for the IFD. The Navigator displays a list
of open system definition files (.msd) and the systems they contain.
Generally, the Navigator appears automatically docked on the left side of the IFD
window when you start the application. However, if it is not open or if you need to
reposition it, proceed with the following steps:
To view and position the Navigator
1 From the View menu, choose Navigator.
The Navigator appears.
2 To reposition the Navigator, do one of the following:
♦ Double-click the top border of the Navigator (gripper) to dock or float the
navigation pane (see illustration below).
♦ Right-click on the gripper to view a context menu for positioning the
Navigator.
At the bottom of the Navigator, there are two tabs that represent the List view
and the Composition view.
