Generate and Transfer Files
You can generate and transfer .msl or command files. Procedures for both are
described in this section.
To generate and transfer an Event Server system file (.msl)
This procedure assumes that the execution mode of the active system is set to
Event Server.
1 In the Define Deploy Scripts dialog, select the deploy script.
2 Under Script Commands, select Generate and Transfer Event Server
Control File and click Details.
One of the following options occur:
♦ If the server is either local, distributed, or undefined, the Event Server
control file path on server dialog appears.
For this option, select or name the .msl file and click Save. This specifies the
name and location of the .msl file that will be created by the deploy script.
