Chapter 4 - How the Integration Flow
Designer Works
When you use the Integration Flow Designer (IFD), you are creating visual process
flows and from them creating executable systems that are processed by the Event
Server or Command Server. This chapter describes how the IFD works, including
the theory of operation, the relationships between a component and a system, and
the three main stages of using the application.
Overview
The IFD enables you to easily manage collections of related maps by graphically
organizing them into logical collections of systems. The IFD turns a system into an
executable file that is run by the Event Server or Command Server.
