To override a map setting
1 In the system window, right-click on a map component and select Edit Event
Server settings.
The Event Server Settings dialog appears.
2 Select a map setting and choose a new value.
3 Click OK to save changes.
The new map settings will be used during execution.
Overriding Card Settings
Card settings, which are specific to input and output cards, define the data object
the card represents and how that data is retrieved or routed. A map component
that references an executable map has card settings that are defined in the map
source file (.mms) and the compiled map file (.mmc). Using the IFD, you can
specify execution settings that override the card settings.
