Integration Flow Designer
The Integration Flow Designer (IFD) is a graphical manager for data flows. It is
used during development to define a set of logically related integration solutions
called a system. The IFD defines interactions among maps and systems of maps,
where maps are objects that serve one or more purposes such as routing or
transformation.
The IFD provides clarity and control for managing the more complex systems built
with Mercator products. It also reduces the administrative burden and simplifies
the non-development activities associated with interface development. Some of
the key features of the IFD are:
♦ Graphical data flow design
♦ Analysis of integration for logical consistency
