Source Control
All of the Mercator Design Studio components provide a direct interface to any
source control package that supports the Microsoft Source Code Control Interface
API. This means that source components in all of the designers can be directly
managed within a source control package (such as Merant PVCS, Rational
ClearCase, and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe).
This feature enables you to save and retrieve multiple revisions of the source
components developed with the Mercator Design Studio to or from a source
control system, avoiding manual backup of original source files.
