Defining Default Map Settings
Map settings are compiled with a map. In the Map Designer, the map settings
defined in the Map Settings dialog box are the default settings that apply when a
map is created.
Each new map created uses the default map settings specified in the Run
Options.
To define default map settings
1 From the Tools menu, choose Options.
2 In the Options dialog, select Run Options.
The MapSettings, DisplaySettings, and Configuration File are displayed in
the right pane of the Options dialog box.
3 For Setting, define the desired default.
4 Click OK.
