Compositional Hierarchy
The compositional view of the cards shows the contents of the type definitions.
Types are arranged in a compositional hierarchy, which shows the structure,
layout or composition of the data. This hierarchy is different from the hierarchy in
a type tree, which is a classification hierarchy.
The data is defined in the Type Designer according to specific properties. The
types are arranged on the input and output cards in the order they appear in the
data. This compositional hierarchy shows the structure of the data.
