Chapter 2 - Type Designer Basics Properties Window
2 From the Type menu, choose Properties.
To dock or float the Properties window
1 Right-click in any outer gray border of the Properties window.
2 From the content menu, select Allow Docking.
A check mark appears next to Allow Docking in the content menu when the
window can be docked.
