Chapter 2 - Type Designer Basics Toolbar
Edit Menu (Alt+E)
The Edit menu provides editing commands that are generally available in
Windows applications. It also contains the Find command that is useful when
locating types.
Command Tool Key Description
Undo
Alt+
Backspace
Allows the user to undo multiple operations
performed. For a detailed list, see Undo
Command.
Cut
Ctrl+X Cuts the selection and places a copy on the
clipboard
Copy
Ctrl+C Copies the selection to the clipboard
Paste
Ctrl+V Inserts the contents from the clipboard
Find
Ctrl+F Displays the Find dialog box in which you
can locate specified information in the active
window
Replace None Ctrl+H Displays the Replace dialog box in which
you can replace specified information in the
active window
Undo Command
The Undo command allows the user to undo multiple operations performed. There
is no limit for the number of actions that can be undone.
The following operations can be undone in the Type Designer:
General Group and Category Windows Item Window
Delete Add Add
Add Delete Delete
Cut Cut Cut
Paste Paste Paste
Rename Edit Edit
Edit Move components Move restrictions
