Chapter 5 - Item Properties  Date & Time Item Subclass Properties 
Format 
When the Item Subclass is Date & Time and the Interpret as is Character, 
click 
 (browse button) in the Value column for the Format property. The Date 
Time dialog box appears. 
To define the Date & Time format 
Note  You can use alphabetical characters as separators. In the example, 
2001-04-02T10:32:59-0500, the T is the separator. 
  Separators are limited to 60 characters. 
The following is a list of supported date formats: 
♦  CCYYMMDD 
♦  YYMMDD 
♦  MMDDCCYY 
♦  MMDDYY 
♦  CCYYDDD 
♦  YYDDD 
♦  DDMMCCYY 
♦  DDMMYY 
Note  The DDMMCCYY and DDMMYY formats did not exist prior v6.5. If you had defined 
either one of these formats prior to v6.5 as a custom format, it will be recognized 
in v6.5 as the respective new format, instead of the previously defined custom 
format.
