Card and Map Setting Enhancements
The following sections detail new card and map settings for Version 6.7 as well as
enhancements made to existing settings.
Ignore Restrictions Map Setting
A new option has been added to the Ignore Validation Options execution
command, which specifies that restrictions be ignored for all items appearing in
the input data with no warnings.
The Validation > RestrictionError map setting has been enhanced so that you
can choose to allow restrictions to be fully ignored, in all situations other than
when ignoring is required for object identification, such as when an item is
partitioned by a restriction list.
OnSuccess Property Card Setting
This enhancement provides the same level of support for file sources and targets,
using the OnSuccess card setting, as was available in MIB v1.4.2 using the
Delete and Append execution command overrides.
Two new options have been added to the OnSuccess card setting:
Append: Specifies that the output data should be appended to an existing
data file. If the data file does not exist, it should be created.
CreateOnContent: Specifies that the output data should be sent only if
content exists. For example, a message adapter should put the message
produced on the specified message queue. If no data was produced, no
message should be sent.
Pending Instance Thresholds Card Setting
This new card setting enables the user to control the number of init pending
instances that a particular watch can consume.
