Packaged Example Enhancements
There is a new front-end user interface for the examples and it can be accessed
through the Start menu. For example, Start > Programs > Mercator 6.7 >
Design Studio.
The examples included with the Design Studio, Mercator Integration Broker, and
the Software Development Kit Version 6.7 have been restructured. The directory
structure is no longer laid out using product names, but rather grouped by
function or product category.
The EDI, SAP/R3, and Swift examples have been removed and are now
incorporated into their associated separate integration packages.
The following new examples have been added:
• Implementation of the
RUN function in a dispatch map scenario
• Utilization of an output card that uses a sink target
• Using the Resource Registry and resource aliases within map input and/or
output cards
• Demonstration of a Command Server-based system in the IFD
• Demonstration of a Event Server-based system in the IFD
Note The example executables and data file names have been changed to all lowercase
and, in some cases, renamed.
Launching Database Interface Designer from IFD
The Database Interface Designer can now be launched from within the Integration
Flow Designer.
A database/query file associated with a given database source or target in an IFD
system diagram, can now be opened in the DID.
