Resource Registry Alias Resolution
Additional resources for which to create aliases are now available in the Resource
Registry. These resources include:
♦ backup files
♦ audit files and locations
♦ trace files and locations
♦ work space locations
♦ external parser location (defined in the Type Designer)
Initialization File Enhancements
The following new settings have been added to the mercator.ini file:
♦
FileListenCount: used to specify the number of files to process at a time
per directory
♦
ListenSleepTime: used to specify the time in milliseconds between directory
processing
♦
Logging: used to enable trace (logging) functionality for the file listener
Relative Type Name Enhancement
You can now specify type names that when specified as a standard relative type
name, would result in an ambiguous component name analysis error during type
tree analysis.
XML Type Property Enhancement
When creating type trees using the Type Designer, you can now specify that an
object represents XML Data.
The item Range > Restrictions setting in the Type Designer has been enhanced
so that the minimum and maximum values can be specified as not included in the
range.
A new card setting, DocumentVerification, enables you to choose situations in
which the external document verification program is called when an instance of an
object with an XML type property is found. This setting is available for use with all
adapters, including SINK.
