New: External System Component for the Flow Designer
A new palette object has been added to the Integration Flow Designer Tool Box to
represent an external system object, such as an SAP R/3 system or e-business
marketplace.
Improved: Flow Designer Navigator Extensions
The Flow Designer Navigator now shows more than just systems and their map
components. The Flow Designer Navigator extensions include defined servers,
deploy scripts per system, all document links, and map component details, such
as input cards, output cards, and log files.
New Examples to Demonstrate New Features
Several new examples have been provided with Version 6.0 to help demonstrate
new features and functions.
Improved: Easier Troubleshooting for Type and Map
Designers
In the Type Designer, features have been added for instant display of valid and
invalid components, to use find or replace in all type and map windows, and to
zoom in on nested component rules.
In the Map Designer, both the trace file and audit log can be viewed side by side
in separate windows.
More Run-time Configuration Options
New: Local Control for Concurrent Map Instances
The Global Maximum Threads per Watch option was added in a service pack
for v5.0. It allows you to adjust the maximum number of allowable concurrent
runs for any watch (component).
New for Version 6.0, the local Maximum Concurrent Map Instances option is
added to allow you to set the maximum number of allowable concurrent map
instances to run within that component, not affecting other watches. This helps to
prevent bottlenecks and improve performance.
Improved: Burst Audit Log is now Optional
In Version 5.0, when an execution audit was performed, each burst summary was
