Database Adapter Enhancements 
New OLE DB and Informix Database Adapter Support 
New for Version 6.0, the database adapters for OLE DB data providers allow you 
to access and manipulate data contained in databases that can be presented as 
OLE DB data links. 
The new Informix option allows you to access and manipulate data contained in 
Informix databases for sources, targets, and map rules. 
Improved Granularity for Database Events 
Oracle and MS SQL Server trigger support has been expanded to allow for row-
based triggering. This means that only rows that have been updated or inserted 
into a table will be processed by the map instance. The Database Interface 
Designer has a new option in the Trigger Definition dialog to allow for row or 
table based triggering to be enabled. 
User-Defined Syntax Options for Database Types 
Prior to Version 6.0, delimited type trees for use with the database adapters 
predefined the value of the delimiter, terminator and release symbols. In Version 
6.0, it is possible to choose these symbols in the Database Interface Designer 
when generating the type tree. 
Messaging-Oriented Middleware Adapter Enhancements 
New TIB/Rendezvous 6.x Messaging Adapter 
A new adapter has been developed to support the TIB/Rendezvous 6.x interface. 
This adapter provides full support for basic and certified messaging. 
New TIB/Rendezvous TX Messaging Adapter 
A new adapter has been developed to support the TIB/Rendezvous TX interface. 
This adapter provides full support for TIB/Rendezvous TX transactions. 
New BEA Tuxedo 7 Messaging Adapter 
A new adapter has been developed to support BEA Tuxedo 7. This adapter 
provides full support for all the new data types that were introduced into release 7 
of BEA Tuxedo. 
Added Archive Support with a New GZip/ZLIB Adapter 
New in Version 6.0, this adapter provides file level access to *.gz (GNU Zip) files. 
GZip is an encoding format as described in RFC 1952. This new adapter also
