Chapter 2 - Version 6.7.1
Version 6.7.1 maintenance release (Service Pack 1 for v6.7) offers enhancements
to functionality and improvements in using Mercator products. The significant
changes included in v6.7.1 are described in the following sections.
New Adapters for NonStop Data Transformation Engine
The following resource adapters are now available on the NonStop server:
♦ NonStop SQL/MP
♦ NonStop SQL/MX
The following resource adapters have been enhanced:
♦ FTP
♦ HTTP
XML has been enhanced in the following ways:
♦ XML Schema importer
♦ XML Type Property Enhancement
♦ Enhanced XML DTD Importer
Type Designer
Type Definition Enhancement - Pad Characters
In the Type Designer application, the Item Subclass > Pad property has a new
sub-property: CountsTowardMinContent. You can use this property to specify if
pad characters will count toward the length of an object when determining if it
meets its minimum content length.
For the CountsTowardMinContent property, there are two values: Yes or No.
Prior to this enhancement, the default behavior was the same as choosing Yes.
