Debugging NonStop DCE Programs
DCE demon execution priority
An application can determine the default Guardian execution priority for a process
that is started as a NonStop DCE demon by checking the DEFAULT_PRI
environment variable.
The default value is 155.
Security services information
An application can determine the name of the machine on which the cell's master
security server runs by checking the SEC_SERVER environment variable.
Table 4-1 indicates how these environment variables are used. As the table indicates,
a standard server can initiate remote procedure calls (RPCs) and can also be an RPC
client.
A complete listing and description of NonStop DCE environment variables can be
found in the dce_config(8) reference page either online or in the DCE Installation,
Configuration, and Management Guide. A listing and description of OSS environment
variables can be found in the environ(5) reference page either online or in the Open
System Services System Calls Reference Manual.
