The dce_config utility copies files to the OSS directories listed in Table 3-3 during
installation.
Table 3-2. dcelocal Directories and Files
Directory or File Description
/opt/dcelocal.hostname/bin This directory contains DCE administration
utilities and server process binary files
(demons).
/opt/dcelocal.hostname/etc This directory contains the dce_config script
files and files used by other administrative
programs.
/opt/dcelocal.hostname/etc/
zoneinfo
This directory contains time-zone files used by
the DTS component of DCE.
/opt/dcelocal.hostname/lib This directory exists only for TNS virtual hosts.
This directory contains libdce.so, which
contains a string definition of the variable SRL.
SRL is assigned the pathname of the TNS
shared run-time library file for NonStop DCE
applications.
/opt/dcelocal.hostname/nls/
msg/en_US.ASCII
This directory contains the NonStop DCE
message catalog files.
/opt/dcelocal.hostname/usr/
examples/dce_config
This directory contains sample dce_config
command and environment scripts, as
described in Appendix C, Noninteractive Use of
dce_config.

This directory contains sample source code for
the null time-provider program.
