When All Else Fails
2. If dtsd is on this host, verify that DTS is functioning correctly by entering this
command at a dcecp prompt:

When All Else Fails
1. From the main menu, select dce_config option 4 (STOP) to completely shut
down the cell. This clean shutdown removes credentials files that, if left on a
machine, might interfere with the restart of DCE.
2. From the main menu, restart the cell by selecting dce_config option 3 (START).
Changing the DCE Host IP Address
To change the IP address of a DCE host, proceed as follows:
1. Login to a cell as a privileged network user (that is, cell_admin).
2. If the security server is running on that IP address, enter:
cdsp > remove obj /.:/subsys/dce/sec/master CDS_Towers
3. Modify the dce_cf.db file with the new TCP/IP process name and IP address.
