ADD ALIAS

ADD ALIAS The ADD ALIAS command defines a new alias for a subsystem object or manager.
The object or manager must have been previously defined by the ADD SSOBJECT or
ADD SSMANAGER command. For more information about using the ADD
command, see “Notes About ADD Commands” at the beginning of this section.

can be omitted if the default object, as established by an ASSUME command, is
ALIAS.
alias
is the new alias to be added.
an alias
is the alias whose creation values are to be used, overriding those established by a
previous SET ALIAS command.

is the system where
an alias
is defined. Can be omitted if
an alias
is unique
on the local system.

is a system or name manager where
an alias
is defined. If omitted, the current
name manager is assumed.

is a Guardian 90 system name. It designates a node other than the
current system for processing the command.
