ADD COMPOSITE The ADD COMPOSITE command adds a composite object to the DNS database. For
more information about using the ADD command, see “Notes About ADD
Commands” at the beginning of this section.
ADD [ COMPOSITE ] composite [LIKE a composite [ ON \ system-1 ]
[ at-part ] ] [ , parameter ] ...
where at-part is:
AT { \ system-2 | name manager }
COMPOSITE
may be omitted if the default object is COMPOSITE.
composite
is the name of the composite being added. This must conform to the specific name
characteristics included in the subsection “Defining Alias Names” in Section 4.
These characteristics also apply to composite, group, and domain names.
a composite
is the name of some other composite. This causes all COMPOSITE attributes to
assume creation values equal to those defined for a composite .
\ system-1
the system where a composite is defined. This may be omitted if composite is
unique.
{ \ system-2 | name manager }
is a system or name manager where a composite is defined. If omitted, the
current name manager is assumed.
\ system-2 is a Guardian 90 system name. It designates a node other than the
current system for processing the command. name manager designates a
configuration other than the current one.
