ADD DNSDOMAIN The ADD DNSDOMAIN command defines a new domain to DNS. For more
information about using the ADD command, see “Notes About ADD Commands” at
the beginning of this section.

may be omitted if the default object is DNSDOMAIN.
domain
is the name of the domain to be added. This must conform to the specific name
characteristics included in the subsection “Defining Alias Names” in Section 4.
These characteristics also apply to composite, group, and domain names.
a domain
the name of some other domain. This causes all DNSDOMAIN attributes to
assume creation values equal to those defined for
a domain

is a system or name manager where

is defined. If omitted, the current
name manager is assumed.

is a Guardian 90 system name. It designates a node other than the
current system for processing the command.

designates a
configuration other than the current one.
SYSTEMS +
indicates that the systems in

should be added to those specified
through previous SET DNSDOMAIN commands.
SYSTEMS -
indicates that the systems listed in
system list
should be deleted from those
specified through previous SET DNSDOMAIN SYSTEMS commands.
SYSTEMS
the system list in the command is used rather than that established by SET
DNSDOMAIN commands.
