ADD SS The ADD SS command is used to define a subsystem to DNS. This command may be
used only in definition mode. For more information about using the ADD command,
see “Notes About ADD Commands” at the beginning of this section.

subsystem
is the name of the subsystem being added.
a subsystem
a subsystem whose creation values are to be used, overriding those of a previous
SET SS command.

is a system or name manager where

is defined. If omitted, the
current name manager is assumed.

is a Guardian 90 system name. It designates a node other than the
current system for processing the command.

designates a
configuration other than the current one.
parameter
is one of the following:
OWNER

owner
names the company that defines the subsystem.
SSNUM
integer
integer
uniquely identifies the subsystem within

; must be a nonzero value
between -32767 and 32767.
