ADD SSTYPE
The DNSCOM Commands

DEVICENAME
Indicates that objects of this type must have valid Guardian 90 logical
device names.
When adding a subsystem object of this type using the ADD
SSOBJECT command, DNSCOM expands the name using the
specifications from the most recent NAMESYS command.
DISKFILENAME
Indicates that subsystem-object names of this type must be valid
Guardian 90 disk file names.
When adding a subsystem object of this type using the ADD
SSOBJECT command, DNSCOM expands the object’s name using the
specifications from the most recent NAMESYS and NAMEVOL
commands.
PATHWAYNAME
Indicates that objects of this type must have valid Pathway names.
PROCESSNAME
Indicates that objects of this type must have names that are valid as
Guardian 90 process names.
When adding a subsystem object of the type using the ADD
SSOBJECT command, DNSCOM expands the object’s name using the
specifications from the most recent NAMESYS command.
PROCESSQUALIFIER
Indicates that objects of this type must have valid process qualifier
names. A process qualifier may be either:
# alpha-char 0-6 alphanumeric-characters
or
# alpha-char 0-6 alphanumeric-characters
