DELETE SSTYPE

DELETE SSTYPE The DELETE SSTYPE command purges subsystem-object type names and their
definitions from the DNS database. This command may be used only in definition
mode.

SSTYPE
may be omitted if
ssobject type
is unique in the command name manager’s
database or if IN
subsystem
is specified.
ssobject type
is the name of an subsystem-object type to be deleted.

is a system or name manager where the command is to be executed. If omitted,
the current name manager is assumed.
SSTYPE *
means that all subsystem-object types in the command name manager’s database
are to be included for deletion.
subsystem
is the name of a subsystem. This must be specified if the specified subsystem-
object type is defined by more than one subsystem. If omitted, or if IN * is
specified, all instances of
ssobject type
defined by any subsystem are included
for deletion.
