OBEYVOL

OBEYVOL The OBEYVOL command sets the default volume and subvolume names for OBEY file
name expansion.

is a Guardian 90 subvolume name.

Considerations
If the OBEYVOL command is not issued, the default settings in effect when
DNSCOM was started are used. If either the volume name or subvolume name is
omitted, the previous setting applies. If both names are omitted and the file from
which the OBEYVOL command was read is not an OBEY file, an error occurs; an
error message is displayed and the OBEYVOL defaults are not changed.
If the command was read from an obey file, the current OBEYSYS setting is
changed to the obey file’s volume and subvolume.
If either part of the new specification is invalid, or would be invalid when
combined with the current defaults and the current OBEYSYS setting, an error
occurs. An error message is displayed and the OBEYVOL defaults are not
changed.
