MAXDOMAINS

domains

specifies the maximum number of domains that can be defined on a node.

It is an integer in the range 0 through 255.

MAXEXPORTS

exports

is an integer in the range 1 through 31; the default value is 31. This

parameter specifies the maximum number of active export tasks that are

permitted by the name exporter.

MAXMANAGERS

managers

specifies the maximum number of subsystem managers that can be

defined on a node. It is an integer in the range 100 through 1000.

MAXNAMES

names

is an integer in the range 1000 through 1000000.

MAXTYPES

types

is an integer in the range 200 through 5000.

SECURITY

security flags

is a four-character string where each character must be one of the

following: O, U, G, C, A, N or -. Enclose the four-character string in

double quotation marks (“).

Default values for the attributes listed above are provided in Tables 6-1 and 6-2.
