DEVICENAME
indicates that objects of this type must have valid Guardian 90 logical
device names.
When adding a subsystem object of the type using the ADD
SSOBJECT command, DNSCOM expands the name using the
specifications from the most recent NAMESYS command.
DNSNAME
indicates that objects of this type must have valid DNS object names.
That is, an object name must conform to the rules for a DNS external
name: it must have alphanumeric characters, at least one of which is
alphabetic, embedded dash and underscore allowed; 32 characters
maximum.
PATHWAYNAME
indicates that objects of this type must have valid PATHWAY names.
PROCESSNAME
Indicates that objects of this type must have names that are valid as
Guardian 90 process names.
When adding a subsystem object of the type using the ADD
SSOBJECT command, DNSCOM expands the object’s name using the
specifications from the most recent NAMESYS command.
PROCESSQUALIFIER
indicates that objects of this type must have valid process qualifier
names. A process qualifier may be either:
