The DOMAIN attribute of group definition specifies a DNS domain that determines
the systems on which the group’s definition is replicated. If a group has a domain
specified, it may not contain other groups as members. The domain of any group
containing other groups must be LOCAL. (LOCAL is the DNSCOM keyword used to
indicate that a names should not be replicated to any other node.)
Nested groups, that is, having groups within groups as described above, may have up
to four levels, including the highest level. When you nest groups, each group listed
must have been previously defined on the local system using the ADD GROUP
command or have been imported from another system. Figure 4-17 displays the
hierarchy of nested groups.
