Overview of the
STATUS Commands
ZDNS-CMD-STATUS obtains the status of DNS, of exports, and DNS processes. The
command may be used with the following object types:
ZDNS-OBJ-DNS (null value)
ZDNS-OBJ-PROC
ZDNS-OBJ-SYSTEM
ZDNS-CMD-STATUS returns ZSPI-TKN-RETCODE, with a value of zero, together
with a structured response token. If there are errors in the command parameters, the
ZSPI-TKN-RETCODE token will have a non-zero value and no structured response
token will be returned.
ZDNS-CMD-STATUS uses the same parameters (where appropriate) as does
ZDNS-CMD-INFO.
STATUS DNS Command The STATUS DNS command obtains the status of DNS.
