Tokens Appearing in
Selected DNS Event
Messages
The following tokens and values (in addition to those required in all DNS event
messages) are defined specifically for DNS. These tokens and values are defined in the
standard SPI definition file for DNS (for example, ZDNSDDL, from which are derived
ZDNSTAL, ZDNSCOB, and so on). Tokens that appear only in certain event messages
are listed and described in the individual message descriptions in the remainder of this
section.
ZDNS-TKN-CODESEG [ZSPI-TYP-UINT]
contains the code space ID (0 through 15) where an error was detected. It appears
in the following event messages:
ZDNS-EVT-DATABASE-ERROR (24)
ZDNS-EVT-INTERNAL-ERROR (25)
ZDNS-EVT-TRAP (31)
ZDNS-TKN-CPU [ZSPI-TYP-UINT]
contains the name manager’s backup CPU number in ZDNS-EVT-BACKUP-
CREATED (16) messages.
ZDNS-TKN-DB-ERROR [ZSPI-TYP-ENUM]
is an enumerated value denoting the particular database integrity check that
failed. This token appears in ZDNS-EVT-DATABASE-ERROR (24) and has one of
the following values:
ZDNS-VAL-DBERR-NOTFOUND = 1 (record pointed to does not
exist)
ZDNS-VAL-DBERR-REFUNDERFLOW = 2 (reference count underflow)
ZDNS-VAL-DBERR-GROUPUNDERFLOW = 3 (group count underflow)
ZDNS-VAL-DBERR-SUBUNDERFLOW = 4 (subcount underflow)
ZDNS-VAL-DBERR-DUPRECORD = 5 (unexpected duplicate record)
ZDNS-TKN-DBNAME-1 [ZSPI-TYP-STRING]
contains a name in display format. It appears in the following event messages,
such as:
ZDNS-EVT-TYPE-ERROR (22)
ZDNS-EVT-DATABASE-ERROR (24)
ZDNS-TKN-DBNAME-2 [ZSPI-TYP-STRING]
contains a name in display format. It appears in the following event messages:
ZDNS-EVT-TYPE-ERROR (22)
ZDNS-EVT-DATABASE-ERROR (24)
