What Happens
The primary name manager process does not attempt to create a backup until 30
seconds after receipt of a CPU UP system message for its backup CPU.
The name manager may be restored to NonStop operation by stopping DNS, altering
the DNS-MANAGER CPUS attribute to indicate a pair of running processors, and
restarting DNS.
Recommended Action
Follow recommended procedure for CPU failure.
