Replacing Templates on a Running System (Using SCF)
If you perform normal system software installation (which includes running the
INSTALL^TEMPLATES macro on a DSM/SCM target system), this procedure is not
necessary. Otherwise, to specify the template object files for the Event Management
Service (EMS) to use:
1. As a precaution, save the current configuration file with an SCF SAVE command.
(See the SCF Reference Manual for G-Series RVUs. ) For example, to save the
configuration file at $SYSTEM.ZSYSCONF.CONF0104:
-> SAVE CONFIGURATION 1.4
