Undo TSV or TDL Processing Messages
If a nonfatal error occurs while processing a target subvolume (TSV) or target directory
location (TDL), ZHPIRNM tries to restore the TSV or TDL to its original state. During
this restore process, one of these messages is issued, indicating that the restore was
successful or that errors occurred:
Cause. An error occurred that prevented ZPHIRNM from restoring the files on the
subvolume to their original names. A message describing the particular error precedes
this message.
Effect. ZPHIRNM stops without restoring the subvolume to its original state.
Recovery. Refer to the message that precedes this message, and correct the error. If
necessary, contact your service provider and provide all relevant information:
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
Details from the messages generated
Supporting documentation such as the $ZPHI Event Management Service (EMS)
logs and trace files (if requested by your service provider)
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all
related products as well.
Then rerun ZPHIRNM.
Cause. Informational message indicating that ZPHIRNM successfully restored the
subvolume to its original state.
Effect. None.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Because of this error, ZPHIRNM is not able to restore the
subvolume or directory for OSS to its pre-DSM/SCM condition.
ZPHIRNM was able to restore the subvolume to its previous
state.
