INITENV Messages
Cause. The file name you entered does not exist or has an incorrect format.
Effect. INITENV pauses and lets you enter a new file name.
Recovery. Enter a valid file name using standard NonStop naming conventions.
Cause. The Remote Server Call (RSC) product was not installed before you ran 
INITENV.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Install, configure, and initialize RSC; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. You entered the name of a system that either does not exist or cannot be 
accessed over the network.
Effect. INITENV pauses and lets you reenter the system name.
Recovery. Enter the name of a system that is connected to your NonStop network.
Cause. The file name you entered does not exist or has an incorrect format.
Effect. INITENV pauses and lets you enter a new file name.
Recovery. Enter a valid file name using standard NonStop naming conventions.
Cause. The IP port number is not valid.
Effect. INITENV pauses and lets you enter a new IP port number.
Recovery. Enter a valid IP port number from 1025 through 65535.
INITENV ERROR: Invalid [[\system.]$vol.]subvol entered. 
Please retry.
INITENV ERROR: RSC must be installed and configured before 
DSM/SCM can be installed. Please install RSC then run INITENV 
again.
INITENV ERROR: The entered system name is not accessible or 
does not exist: file error

INITENV ERROR: The entered value is not a valid file name, or 
the file is not accessible, or it does not exist. Please 
retry.
INITENV ERROR: The entered value is not a valid IP Port 
number. Please retry.
