INITTMF Errors
Cause. You entered the name of a volume that either does not exist or is not
mounted.
Effect. INITENV pauses and lets you reenter the volume name.
Recovery. Enter the name of the volume that is mounted on the current system.
Cause. The volume you specified for use as a DSM/SCM remote database cannot be
used because it has not been enabled for audit by the TMF subsystem.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Use the TMFCOM process to enable the volume, or choose an enabled
volume; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. INITENV tried to initialize the TMF environment on a remote system, but the
TMF subsystem is not active on that system. The TMF subsystem must be active on a
remote system if that system is to be used for a database.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Either start the TMF subsystem on the remote system or select another
system for the database. To start the TMF subsystem, you can use the TMFSTART
procedure or your own standard operational procedures. Then rerun INITENV.
