INITSQL Messages
Cause. The TMF subsystem has been configured but not started on the local system.
INITENV does not create a database on a local system if the TMF subsystem is not
active on that system.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Use TMFCOM or your normal operational procedures to start the TMF
subsystem; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. INITENV tried to create a database on the remote system but found that the
TMF subsystem was not active on that system. The TMF subsystem must be
configured and active before INITENV can create a database.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Using your normal operational procedures, start the TMF subsystem on the
remote system; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. Although the INITENV status file INITSTAT indicates that the TMF subsystem
has been initialized, something altered its status. The TMF subsystem must be
initialized again before SQL can be initialized.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. INITENV checks the INITSTAT file to determine which stages have
completed successfully. Edit INITSTAT as suggested in the message and rerun
INITENV to initialize the TMF subsystem.
