INITHDB Messages
Cause. Certain internal programs must be run by the super ID (255,255). A file-system
error occurred when INITENV called FUP to set the PROGID for the indicated file. This
error might be accompanied by additional details.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. For a description of the error code displayed in this message, see
Section 7, File-System Errors. Correct the file-system error; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. Not enough space is available on the requested volume to initialize the
DSM/SCM database.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Either clean up the volume to free additional space, or choose another
volume for the DSM/SCM database.
Cause. An error occurred during the compilation of the DSM/SCM database.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. For details on the specific error, check the SQLCOMP output listing; then
correct the error and rerun INITENV.
INITHDB ERROR: FUP reported file system error error-number

Please correct the problem, then run INITENV again.
