INITTDB Messages
These errors are related to the initialization of the target database:
Cause. Certain internal programs must be run by the super ID (255,255). A file-system
error occurred when INITENV called FUP to set the PROGID for the indicated file. This
error might be accompanied by additional details.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. For a description of the error code displayed in this message, see
Section 7, File-System Errors. Correct the file-system error; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. Not enough space is available on the requested volume to initialize the
DSM/SCM database.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Either clean up the volume to free additional space or choose another
volume; then rerun INITENV.
Cause. A compilation error occurred while the SQL compiler SQLCOMP was
compiling a file required by the database initialization.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Contact your service provider, and provide all relevant information:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the messages generated
•
Supporting documentation such as the $ZPHI Event Management Service (EMS)
logs and trace files (if requested by your service provider)
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all
related products as well. After the error is corrected, rerun INITENV.
