VERIFYI Messages
Cause. The DSM/SCM host transaction delivery process (TDP) must be running in
order to run DSM/SCM. However, INITENV found that the host TDP is not running.
Effect. You cannot run DSM/SCM.
Recovery. Run the DSM/SCM startup file STARTSCM. STARTSCM starts all
processes that DSM/SCM requires.
Cause. The indicated process must be running before you can start DSM/SCM.
However, INITENV found that the process is not running.
Effect. You cannot run DSM/SCM.
Recovery. Run the DSM/SCM startup program STARTSCM. STARTSCM starts all
processes that DSM/SCM requires.
Cause. To verify that the DSM/SCM initialization was performed correctly, INITENV
calls VERIFYI to check the INITENV completion status file INITSTAT. However, a file-
system error occurred when VERIFYI tried to open the INITSTAT file.
Effect. INITENV stops.
Recovery. Correct the file-system error; then rerun INITENV or VERIFYI. You can run
VERIFYI outside of INITENV.
