Warning and Error Messages
Cause. An audit request is already running.
Effect. DSM/SCM warns that you have already submitted an Audit request, and the
request is still being processed.
Recovery. You can press F6 to cancel the Audit. Otherwise, you can perform no
additional activities until the Audit finishes.
Cause. A request is already running for this target.
Effect. DSM/SCM does not let you start another task.
Recovery. Wait until the current request finishes before submitting another one. If
necessary, cancel the current request.
Cause. You have already successfully applied this activation package on the target.
You cannot reapply it.
Effect. DSM/SCM issues this message.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. You are trying to apply an activation package for a new target, but the package
is for a configuration that already exists on this target.
Effect. DSM/SCM does not let you start the Apply request.
Recovery. Exit the Target Interface and locate the correct activation package; then
resubmit the request.
Cause. You are trying to submit a Create Snapshot or Verify Database request, but a
configuration has not yet been applied on this target.
Effect. DSM/SCM does not let you submit the request.
Recovery. Apply at least one activation package on this target before resubmitting the
request.
Audit process is running. Only cancel is allowed.
Cannot begin another activity until the current one
completes.
Cannot reapply already complete activation package.
Cannot start apply because package is not for a NEWCONFIG.
Cannot submit request until an initial configuration is
applied.
