Warning and Error Messages
Cause. There is no copy of the Inventory Collector on the ZSOFTWAY subvolume.
Effect. You cannot continue in the Target Interface.
Recovery. Place a copy of the Inventory Collector (

.COLLECT) in the
ZSOFTWAY subvolume on the system-load volume, where:
Cause. You already applied an initial activation package on this target.
Effect. You cannot reapply the initial activation package.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. An internal DSM/SCM error occurred.
Effect. DSM/SCM stops in a nonrestartable state.
Recovery. If you are on the Logon screen, note the error code, and press Shift-F16 to
exit DSM/SCM.
On all other screens:
1. If F4-Show messages is not available, press F16 until you are in the main menu.
2. Press F4 to display the EMS messages for this request.
3. Review the messages to determine the details of this problem.
4. Note the error code; then exit DSM/SCM.
5. Contact your service provider, and provide all relevant information:
Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
Details from the messages generated
Supporting documentation such as the $ZPHI Event Management Service
(EMS) logs and trace files (if requested by your service provider)
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all
related products as well.
Error in communicating with the Inventory Collector process.
